I’m excited to share my picks of the most wearable trends of the season. Today, I’ll be starting with three  of my favorite color trends…

  • Winter White
  • Emerald Green
  • Grey

There are so many new trends that are debuted each fall season. Some are easy to adopt, others, take a pass, and there are even some that aren’t even worth a look.

After taking a look at the good, the maybe’s and the “what were you thinking???”, I’ve pulled together my picks of the most wearable trends for women of age and influence.

Some of these looks may not be for everyone, but there is something for everyone with at least one new look to give your fall style a boost!

There’s a lot to cover so I’ve split the trend report coverage into two weeks, this week by color and next week, style.

Winter White

This is a color that breaks tradition from the long held style rule, no white after Labor Day. This rule has taken a dive and it now looks modern and elegant to wear white any time of the year. But, there’s a twist to make it look completely appropriate when the temperatures take a dip. Here are a few tips to making it work best in cooler weather.

  • When wearing white, shapewear or lining will keep everything looking nice and smooth since white is not forgiving on the body
  • Avoid wearing white that is tight, skimming the body will look best
  • Long sleeves or jackets keep the look seasonally appropriate

Winter white looks great for a casual look, work or for dressier social events…

I love a good sweater dress. They are so comfortable and a flexible option to dress up or down. For the dress on the left, you can give it a casual chic monochromatic look with flat boots and a wool scarf. Dress it up with heels and for a little touch of glam, add animal print! For a sophisticated tonal look, pair with shades of brown and you’ll have an easy effortless chic day style. Add tights for an even cozier look.

The high contrast of back and white brings drama too.

There are so many great choices winter white fall choices!

Emerald Green

Beautiful tones of emerald green look so feminine, even regal! There are several ways to step into this color trend, from just a little as an accent to head to toe regalia!

To go lightly with emerald green, you could start by using it as an accent by accessorizing…

With jewelry…

With shoes…

If you want to take it up a notch for a bold statement, pair it with a necklace…

By the way, there are beautiful emerald green necklaces and earring choices for every style…

Emerald green pants give an unconventional, creative twist on the trend…

Feminine dresses work for any occasion…

Grey

Grey is the new neutral color for fall. However, some of the challenges with grey is that is can appear sporty, not look feminine and lack warmth.

To give grey a lift, I like to pair it with a shot of color, choose feminine styling or pair it with feminine details. These tops give a soft, feminine approach to the color trend…

Grey sweaters are a great staple…

Layered over lean pants, you can warm up a grey sweater with a shot of color in accessories or even give it a glam, casual sexy appeal with a little fur and heels…

Grey goes to the office with touches of glamour through a little shine and color…

Grey dresses look chic and polished…
